Who are we in Mission?

Our mission dollars support local, national, and international endeavors such as Dwight Mission Camp and Conference Center, Presbyterian Disaster Assistance, Goodland Presbyterian Home, Christian's Concerned, PCUSA mission co-workers around the world, and so many others.  There are opportunities for service throughout the year.  Check the church newsletter Faith @ Work for more detail.

We are active in the Duncan Community

With a congregation of many healthcare workers and educators, a lot of our mission has to do with equipping hearts and minds with knowledge.  Our Parish Nurse is active throughout the community.  We also get involved with feeding the hungry, such as the Bread Bread Together ministry on Tuesdays in Duncan.  We connect to our presbytery and denomination as we fight hunger, poverty, sex trafficking, and addiction.

Les and Cindy Morgan
We support a missionary couple, Les and Cindy Morgan, who serve as medical missionaries in Bangladesh through our denomination's Mission Service. You may access their website, and read their latest newsletters, by clicking on the following link: News from Les and Cindy

We participate in the 4 Special Offerings of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) as well as support all our denominational causes through our presbytery pledge.  This means begin involved in peacemaking efforts around the global, as well as locally and regionally.  It means fighting hungry and the systemic things that lead to malnutrition too.  Our mission work involves people power too, as we engage in mission projects like the Well locally, and through Presbyterian Disaster Assistance work teams, like responding to the recent hurricanes.

The Office of Public Witness in the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) voices the concerns of the PC(USA) for social justice to those in power in government in Washington, D.C.
