We have recently been blessed with Rev. Mike Manaugh who is serving as our supply pastor for the next year. We welcome him with open arms. If you haven't already met him, feel free to drop by the office. His usual hours are Mondays and Wednesdays from 9 am - 2 pm.
Mike is a lifelong Presbyterian, who grew up in Oklahoma City, and attended the University of Tulsa and Columbia Theological Seminary. After graduating with a M Div, he was ordained by INP and served eight years as the pastor of the First Presbyterian Church of Manchester, Iowa. Mike had a wonderful time there, but recently returned to the area to be closer to family.
Mike feels at home in parish ministry and has a special heart for smaller churches. He enjoys preaching and offering pastoral care, and is especially fond of the title "Teaching Elder," as he identifies very strongly with the historical models of pastors, who have engaged regularly in the ministry of teaching the Word.
Mike is married to Lauren, who is a Pediatric Occupational Therapist and fellow TU grad, and together they have a son, Cortland (6), and a daughter, Ellie (3). In his freetime, he enjoys flyfishing, flytying, upland bird hunting, and trying not to lose an appendage as a very novice woodworker. Most of all, Mike enjoys meeting new people and hearing their stories.
