Reverend Kathy Vineyard
Together we are the body of Christ, and individually members of it....The Letter to the Romans expresses the theology of church and felling of family that the congregation and the staff of First Presbyterian Church in Duncan, Oklahoma cherish and wish to share with you. Bruce, my husband, and I extend to anyone reading this website the warm welcome which was extended to us as we became a part of this church family in May 2014. We have arrived in Duncan from Temple, Texas to begin a partnership with the congregation and Indian Nations Presbytery to find a positive environment and joy in every part of the church's life. We are excited to meet new, potential members of this local expression of Christ's body.
This congregation is number eleven for Kathy, a minister member of Indian Nations Presbytery. A graduate of Fairleigh Dickinson University with a B.A. In psychology and anthropology-archeology and Princeton Theological Seminary with a M. Div. in bible in the original languages, Kathy has served as Associate Pastor and Pastor to churches in Dallas-Fort Worth, as interim pastor to four congregations in North Central and Central Texas and most recently, as solo supply pastor in Killeen, Texas. Bruce is a pharmacist, ruling elder and native son of Lawton. Together Bruce and Kathy share five children, all of whom are in North Central and Central Texas. Kathy and Bruce reside in Duncan.
